Combat Martial Arts

Combat Martial Arts is combat fighting rather than the formal kata and sport techniques of many of the traditional arts. A student learns techniques during her/his first lesson that can be applied immediately.

High kicks and flamboyant arm movements are not part of the system since they are dangerous in close quarters self-defense -- which is the proximity of physical encounters. Black Belts are required to be proficient in the combat use of firearms, knives and batons/sticks as well as empty hand techniques. The style is economical with no wasted motion and no movement that does not produce a result.
